L'écrêtage est une méthode efficace et simple qui peut réduire le rapport de puissance crête/moyenne (PAPR) des signaux de multiplexage par répartition orthogonale de la fréquence (OFDM). Cependant, l'écrêtage provoque une distorsion dans la bande appelée bruit d'écrêtage. Pour résoudre ce problème, un nouveau schéma itératif d'estimation et d'annulation (IEC) du bruit d'écrêtage est l'un des schémas les plus populaires car il peut améliorer considérablement les performances des systèmes OFDM écrêtés. Cependant, la CEI exploite en principe les symboles détectés au niveau du récepteur pour estimer le bruit d'écrêtage et les symboles détectés ne constituent pas une statistique suffisante en termes de théorie d'estimation. Dans cet article, nous proposons la technique de post-traitement de l'IEC, qui exploite pleinement les statistiques suffisantes au niveau du récepteur et améliore ainsi encore les performances d'un système OFDM écrêté, comme vérifié par des simulations.

To resolve this problem, a novel iterative estimation and cancellation (IEC) scheme for clipping noise is one of the most popular schemes because it can significantly improve the performance of clipped OFDM systems. However, IEC exploits detected symbols at the receiver to estimate the clipping noise in principle and the detected symbols are not the sufficient statistic in terms of estimation theory. In this paper, we propose the post-processing technique of IEC, which fully exploits given sufficient statistic at the receiver and thus further enhances the performance of a clipped OFDM system as verified by simulations.
